It would be nice to be a able to drag & drop items from data sources window directly into xtralayout. Otherwise it is a pain to design complex UI (many fields).
Guys, this is a must have feature and a huge timesaver. Roman hinted in newsgroup that you are considering something.
Proposed Solution:
Enable drag & drop items from data sources window directly into xtralayout or any other design helper that would create proper edit controls, their captions, bindings and names.

In v7.1 we'll ship a new component helper, called LayoutConverter. This component is made to convert the standard form's layout to the LayoutControl's layout and vice versa. I have attached a sample picture, illustrating the process of resolving this issue using the LayoutConverter.
