HtmlEditor - It's impossible to select text and apply styles in IE11

I am having an issue with the HTML Editor widget in Internet Explorer.

I am unable to select text and apply a styling (such as bold, italics, etc.) but can change the text to H1, H2, etc. When I click on one of the options and type new text, it works fine and the text comes out as bold or italics as it should.

It works correctly in Chrome, however.

    We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.

    Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for beta versions and updates that are about to be released.

          Yes, feel free to mark this as public, or is that something I have to change?
          I have test ed the hotfix and it works as intended.
