ImageZoom does not work in Fullscreen mode in Google Chrome

Hi,

We are trying to use your "ImageZoom" component to display an image. After several tries we discovered that the fullscreen view of the image is not working with Google Chrome. Its works well with Firefox and Opera. Here is a example project to demonstrate the problem.

The ImageZoom demo on your website is working well in Chrome from our workstation

Is there anything we missed in the configuration ?

Hello Sebastien,

Thank you for sending your sample project. My attempts to reproduce this issue have been unsuccessful. Attached is a screencast demonstrating the correct behavior on my side. I believe that this issue was fixed in a later controls version. I suggest you download and install the newest version 14.2.6 from Downloads and try to reproduce this issue again. Please feel free to contact us if the problem persists.

Thank you for your clarification. Now everything is clear. Apparently, you are referring to the browser-specific zoom capability. At present, it is not supported. We are aware of this limitation and have a corresponding ticket in our database: S36445: Support the zoom feature in desktop browsers. I have added this ticket to your Favorites list, and you will be automatically informed when its status is changed.

Hi,
I see that I was not clear in my previous post : By "Fullscreen", I mean when the user clicks on the image and a full-size popup appears, showing a larger version of the image. It is not the "fullscreen" mode of Google Chrome
I updated my project in 14.2.6 and it gives me the same behavior.

Hi,

It looks like you are referring to the Expand Window. According to my tests, it operates correctly in you project. Attached is a new screencast that illustrates this statement. Please let me know if I missed anything important.

Hi,
This is indeed this functionnality.
I found the problem : when a zoom is applied to Chrome (ex : if we set the window to 125% of the original size by hitting the "Ctrl and +" key), the image does not appear. I am sending you some screenshots of javascript errors I get and the window displayed when the image does not load. If I put my browser to its original zoom, the image is displayed like the other browsers. The image does not show if the zoom are at 110% and 125% : it shows on 150%. On the other side, it does work at 90% but doesn't at 75%
While it is not something that is critical for the moment, some of our users may have to use the Chrome "zoom" feature on various zoom levels. Could you confirm that you have the same behavior on your side and check if this could be resolved in the future ?

One more note : I just tried in Firefox and it has the same behavior : on some zoom levels, the image is not displayed while on some, it renders correctly. On Internet Explorer, it works on all zoom levels I tested, so it seems it is IE compliant but not Firefox or Chrome
