dxDataGrid - Support header filter with the checked list mode

created 11 years ago

Love dxDataGrid so far, however, are there any plans to implement Excel style auto-filtering for dxDataGrid, similar to the MVC Grid View?

This is one feature my users must have.

    Hi,
do you have any time estimates for this feature?
    Thank you

      Lukas,
Currently, I am unable to provide you with an estimated time frame. We refrain from announcing any specific features for a product in R&D prior to its release. We take this position for many reasons, including the fact that by promising X or Y, some developers may end up planning their development schedules around our promised feature set, which can change at any time. We will keep this feature on our radar, but it is still premature to discuss when it will be available for release.

        Hi,
i want also to be informed if this feature (absolutely necessary for me) will be available in the future.
        Thanks,
        Boris

We have implemented the functionality described in this ticket. It will be included in our next update(s).

Please check back and leave a comment to this response to let us know whether or not this solution addresses your concerns.

        Additional information:

Now you can filter grid data against a specific column by choosing unique column values in a drop-down list of the column's header filter button. For details, refer to the Column Header Filter topic. Note that the documentation will be available when DevExtreme version 15.1 is released.

Will the checked list be available for use as a standalone widget?

              No.

Would like a check box list mode as well.
