WinForms Multi-Purpose UI Controls

The DevExpress WinForms Adorner UI Manager is a transparent layer drawn on top of all other UI elements. It's designed to display objects and visual effects to better communicate the state of your application to end-users. You can use it to draw badges, highlight focused UI elements, display visual effects when validating data editors, etc.

When a control fails validation and you wish to clearly explain the reason for the failure, Adorner allows you to display a descriptive hint next to the control. By using the Validation Hint adorner element, you can highlight the target control and display different hints with images in all control states – valid, invalid and indeterminate.

The DevExpress WinForms Flyout Panel control can be used as a popup panel displayed on the side of your application window.

The DevExpress WinForms Transition Manager allows you to enhance any WinForms application by adding visual effects when changes are made to a form's content. Features include:

• 8 built-in transition types (Push, Shape, Clock, Fade and more).
• Support for easing.
• Ability to customize transition parameters (the frame count and interval, effect options, background color and more).
• Ability to display a wait indicator and customize its settings.

The DevExpress WinForms Wizard control allows you to build Wizard 97 or Windows Aero wizards with superior appearance and pixel-perfect element layout. You no longer have to deal with mundane and time-consuming issues such as those described above. Simply said, you drop the control and instantly turn your form into a multi-page wizard. All you need to worry about is actual page content and implementing your own navigation logic, if necessary.

The DevExpress Workspace Manager provides a centralized mechanism to save/restore layouts of all Bar Managers, Ribbon Controls, Navigation Bars, Document and Dock Managers within your WinForms application. You can create multiple pre-defined workspaces for use by your customers and provide a way to save and restore modifications to existing workspaces.
