References tool window incorrectly classifies target-typed new() expressions as 'read' references

created 2 years ago

Hello, as show in the screen-shot below, the References window is showing target-typed new references as "Read" usages instead of "New Instance" usages, which besides being visually misleading, hinders the ability to filter by "New Instance" as target-typed new references aren't shown at all

It should show the proper icon when using target-typed new references just as it does when the new keyword is used with the explicit type

Thank you

        Stas,
Would you mind if we make this ticket public, so that we can include it in the list of fixed issues for the next CodeRush release?

No problem, please do. Thank you for the fix!
