CodeRush v22.1.3 keeps asking for registration info under certain circumstances

created 3 years ago

Atfer upgrading to CodeRush 22.1.3 it seems I can no longer register it. At startup of Visual Studio it asks me for registration information each time, and even entering it, it seems CodeRush is not active.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, with the same result. When I chose "Continue with Trial" instead of registering, CodeRush worked. But when attempting to enter registration information, the about box still displayed "Trial" version afterwards.

For now I have downgraded to the previous version 21.2.9, where everything works the way it's supposed to.

      Hello Peter and Robert,

This seems to be an issue related to our license checking mechanism in a certain licensing configuration, which we did not consider. Our team is currently researching this behavior. We will share more information on a fix as soon as it is ready. In the meantime, please use the workaround below. We apologize for the inconvenience.

      Workaround
