IntelliRush - IntelliSense does not work in Visual Studio 2019 after an update if IntelliRush is enabled

created 3 years ago

After updating CodeRusch to 21.2.7, both IntelliRusch and VS Intellisense stopped working. Have tried several projects and none of them work anymore.

Win 11
VS 2019 16.11.10
Project type, WinForms (Devexpress 21.2.5)
.Net Framework 4.8

Quick solution?

Best regards
Mikael

We have fixed this issue and prepared a hotfix build:
    DevExpress.CodeRush-21.2.7.22049.exe
    DevExpress.CodeRush-21.2.7.22049.vsix

Please install it and let us know whether it solves the issue on your side.

Thank you so much. Now it works as intended again in my projects. Good work!

We have addressed the issue described in this ticket and will include a fix in our next maintenance update. Should you need to apply our fix prior to official release, you can request a hotfix here.

        Important Notes:

        • Hotfixes may be unavailable for Early Access/Beta builds or updates set for release within a week.
        • .NET only: in the NuGet Package Manager, use your personal NuGet feed and check the "Include prerelease" option to view the hotfix package in the "Updates" tab.

            Yes! Yes! Yes!

I thought I had hit an odd key sequence and changed a VS setting somewhere in the haystack. I just lived (livid?) with this for a couple days.

Thank you to Mikael for reporting the problem!

            Thanks for the fix!
