Test Runner - It is impossible to copy console output data from the Test Runner’s Details window

created 4 years ago

The steps one has to go through to locate the appropriate test, at the appropriate time, in any other window (which Details is supposed to do), in order to copy the results, is crazy. By simply allowing highlighting/copying, it would save so much time. Hard to understand why this isn't here already.

    Hello,

Would you please give us more information on how you are trying to copy information from the detail window of the test runner?

Below is a screencast illustrating that it should be possible to select and copy information for failed tests from the editor test hint as well as from the detail window of the test runner:

Perhaps, I am not fully understand your specific scenario.

Hi Alex, it's specifically with the CONSOLE OUT portion of the Details tab.  I have lots and lots of debugging that each test differentiates in (much longer, snipped for clarity). The Console output tab doesn't suffice because it isn't singular-test specific, like the Details tab is. However the Console Out portion isn't copyable.
