TestRunner - Session modifications are lost when VS crashes

created 5 years ago

TestRunner session modifications seems to be lost between VS crashes. I believe persisting session data earlier might resolve this.

Edit - I've updated to clarify that it's the session modifications that are lost, not all the sessions

    Hello,
Thank you for bringing our attention to this problem. We will try to enhance session persistence in such cases.

Would you please give us some details about the crash? Do you have any VS ActivityLog with crash callstacks?
CodeRush logs would be helpful as well. You can find them in the CodeRush\Support\CodeRush Logs… folder.

        Hi,
First off I think the crashes I'm currently experiencing are all VS related and CodeRush is not at fault. It's a pretty massive solution and never have it crashed after performing any CodeRush action. So far the VS Logs haven't been helpful at all but I'll have a look at the VS/CR logs when it crashes again and will update this ticket should it contain anything useful.

FYI - I've updated the original ticket to reflect that it's the session changes that gets lost after crashes.
