Hi Mike,
Thanks for the attached screenshot.
I tried to reproduce this issue, but failed. Perhaps CodeRush Region Painting conflicts with the region rendering of additional extensions.
Please let us know Visual Studio version and what other Visual Studio extensions are installed on your side. You can check this via the "Extension Manager" dialog (the "Tools | Extensions and Updates…" menu).
Also, the About information of Visual Studio can be of a great help. Simply click the Copy Info button in the Help -> About Microsoft Visual Studio dialog and share this information with us.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Mike,

Thank you for the additional information. I have managed to reproduce the issue.
I found out that the Smooth Caret extension conflicts with CodeRush' region painting feature. Please give us some time to research the issue in detail.
As a workaround, you can disable the Smooth Caret extension or disable the Region Painting feature on the CodeRush Visualize toolbar. See the screenshot below.
Hi George,
Many thanks for finding the issue. I would never suspect these two conflicting. There is no rush resolving and will have it disabled.
By the way small suggestion. Is it possible to add regions to the Code Places list? It would be the great help in navigating.
Regards,
Mike
Hi Mike,
I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (T751097: Suggestion for Code Places). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.
