Dear Sir/Madam,
As described in the title, I've enabled Region Painting with Draw arrows option checked but the arrows are now rendered in code as shown in the attachment (highlighted in yellow).
The advanced options are untouched.

Hi Juan,
Thank you for the attached screenshot.
This option applies to the classic style painting type only. We will change this options page behavior so that this option is not available for the Roslyn painting type.
We will notify you when we have any results.
Is the Roslyn painting type arrows coming back?
I liked the simplistic look of it when it was 17.x. The classic mode is not my type, looks childish IMHO, no offense.
Also, it is buggy… As seeing in the attached pic, you can't see the region ending (marked in yellow), you only see the empty space.
As an additional observation, it should uncheck the option when switching back to Roslyn so it gets rid of the empty space that is taken from the missing arrows, otherwise you have to switch to Classic mode and uncheck it before going back to Roslyn.
Hi Juan,
Thanks for the attached screenshot.
You're absolutely right, the arrows must be drawn in the Roslyn type. Please accept my apologies. We rolled back the options as this was before the changes. We are working on the problem with Roslyn type painting, but I cannot reproduce the issue with #endregion adornment, which is not painted as expected for the classic type. On my side, it is painted fine. See this screencast.
Would you provide a code sample so that we can reproduce this issue on our side?
Hello George,
Glad to know that you are working on the Roslyn type painting. Do you mind letting me know when a hotfix for it is ready?
Regarding the issue with the invisible #endregion adornment, I recorded a video that could maybe give a hint about how to reproduce the issue. Is nothing fancy, it's a BO class (XPO) with a good amount of regions.
Hi Juan,
I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (T639291: Region painting - #endregion adornment is invisible). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.
As for a hotfix, you can download it from this link.
Thanks a lot George!
I've just tried the hotfix from the above link you provided and the arrows in the Roslyn type are drawn again! So happy about it! :-)
You are welcome.
