Greetings.
I was pleased to see the Region Painting feature implemented in this latest release; thanks.
However, if you see the attachments, you'll notice some display artifacts I noticed upon trying out the update.
I'm in
Win 10
VS2015
Dark theme
editor font: Consolas
Additionally, and not to be greedy, but will we be seeing display customization options added to Region Painting? The current color choice just gets lost in the noise and just adds to the clutter of the editor.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the screenshots.
I tried to reproduce this issue, but failed. It would be helpful if you provide us with a screencast illustrating the problem in action. For instance, you can capture it using the free Jing tool from TechSmith.
As for customization options, use the additional options on the "Region Painting" options page (see the attached screenshot).
Hi George.
I'm unable to recreate what I saw in the original screenshots, however, if you look at the attached gif, you'll see that part of the artifact seems to be the descenders of the #region directive and the region name not being painted over.
Additionally, it seems like the customization options are available only for the classic painting option; is it possible to change the font color for the Roslyn painting option?
Hello Robert,
Thanks for the attached screenshots.
I see the problem. Please give us some time to research the issue in detail.
As for color options, I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (Region Painting - Color options for Roslyn painting.). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.
