I have a multi monitor setup whereby my primary laptop monitor is underneath my secondary screen (secondary on top of the primary)
as in
+--------------------+
| SECONDARY |
+--------------------+
| PRIMARY |
+--------------------+
When I run unit tests and one fails, I get an icon of the failure. This works correctly.
When I hover the mouse pointer over the error icon, a tooltip pops up.
When Visual Studio window is full screen on primary monitor, the tooltip displays correctly and in the correct location and is readable.
When I move the Visual Studio window to the "top" (secondary) monitor, and I hover, I see the tooltip at the top of my primary monitor (wrong location) and the background of the tooltip is transparent making it pretty much unreadable.
Hi Jurrian,
Thank you for pointing out this issue. I have configured displays on my machine as you described and tried to reproduce this issue, but my attempts were unsuccessful. It would be of great help to us to reproduce this issue if you send us screenshots or a screencast illustrating your display settings for every monitor. This will help us exactly configure the display settings locally.
Unit test error on primary monitor
Unit test error on secondary monitor (Visual Studio) with error still appearing on primary top screen as transparent.
Display settings, note both monitors have the same resolution
Hi Jurrian,
Thank you for providing the screenshots. I have reproduced this issue with your display settings, and we are working on it. We will inform you once we have any results.
