Test Runner - A test icon hint is shown incorrectly for certain monitors' configuration

created 8 years ago (modified 8 years ago)

I have a multi monitor setup whereby my primary laptop monitor is underneath my secondary screen (secondary on top of the primary)

as in

+--------------------+
| SECONDARY  |
+--------------------+
|  PRIMARY       |
+--------------------+

When I run unit tests and one fails, I get an icon of the failure. This works correctly.

When I hover the mouse pointer over the error icon, a tooltip pops up.
When Visual Studio window is full screen on primary monitor, the tooltip displays correctly and in the correct location and is readable.

When I move the Visual Studio window to the "top" (secondary) monitor, and I hover, I see the tooltip at the top of my primary monitor (wrong location) and the background of the tooltip is transparent making it pretty much unreadable.

Unit test error on secondary monitor (Visual Studio) with error still appearing on primary top screen as transparent.

Display settings, note both monitors have the same resolution
