Test Runner doesn't actually run dotnet core xunit tests

created 8 years ago

Steps to repro:

  1. Install the .NET Core SDK (https://www.microsoft.com/net/core#windows).
  2. Download and install this source code from GitHub: https://github.com/sethjuarez/numl/tree/dev/
  3. Open the numl source. Try to run all the tests. I simply see the "Test started…" in the output window, but never any results.

Here's a screencast showing the problem: http://screencast.com/t/N6o3a5G9

I've upgraded to the latest release and it seems to run. When I do run all though it stops at random percentages.

      Hello Seth,

I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (Test Runner stops randomly when running .Net Core xUnit tests). It has been placed in our processing queue and will be answered shortly.

        Hello Mark,
We have partially resolved this problem in the 16.1.7 version of CodeRush for Roslyn. This version is available via the Visual Studio Extensions Gallery.
Unfortunately, we are having some issues with finding some of the parameterized tests, so we continue working on this subject but need some additional time to prepare a fix. You will be notified when we manage to completely resolve this problem.
