Numeric format switches provided for field codes are ignored

created 9 years ago

Hi!
You will recall in ticket T325270 we mentioned date formatting and using the argument switch to
ensure the correct format without using a "DOCVARIABLE", e.g { MERGEFIELD MyDate @ "DD/MM/YYYY" }
Well, the Arguments for numeric formatting do not seem to work as in the WinForms page…
https://documentation.devexpress.com/#WindowsForms/CustomDocument11169

I am assuming that a   { MERGEFIELD \# $,##0.00 }  format switch should give a formatted currency field?
But it does not seem to do so. I.E if the field is say 55 it should show 55.00, but it doesnt, please advise…
