"Run Tests" menu item should not be located at the top of the context menu

created 9 years ago

After installing CodeRush for Roslyn preview the context menu for projects have a new menu item at the top; "Run Tests". I find this very annoying since I'm so used to finding the "Build" menu item there. Is there any way to remove this?  If not, I suggest you implement a feature to remove or at least move this item so that it is not at the top of the menu.

    Hi Peter,
You can customize all Visual Studio menu items from a standard dialog (Click Tools -> Customize… in the main menu).
    See the attached screenshots.

I and many of my colleagues were also frustrated by this so customized the menus. It would be nice to have a sensible default; the feeling here is that somewhere further down the list would be much better better.

          Hello,

Thank you for sharing your opinion with us.
We discussed this point with our team and completely agree with you that the Unit Test Runner menu entries should not be added at the top of the Solution Explorer content menu.  We will take this into account when planning next releases.
