The system's regional settings are ignored when formatting cell values

created 11 years ago

If I enter a date in Excel it correctly defaults the format to use my regional settings which are UK so it appears as dd/myy/yyyy, but if I then load the spreadsheet into your control it formats it as m/d/yy.

See attachment that contains the Excel file and a screenshot of Excel v ExpressSpreadSheet

You will need to change your regional settings to UK to see this behaviour.

    Stephen,

I have reproduced the described behavior and forwarded this ticket to our developers for research.

I have also a relevat issue I think.
If I use DateNumberFormat: string = 'mmmm d, yyyy'; or the 'd  mmmm , yyyy'; the month name is displayed in English, although I'm from Greece and I have greek regional settings.
