Certain regional settings cause the "'NNN,NNN' is not a valid floating point number" error when reading cached data if a map provider's CacheOptions.DiskFolder property is specified

created 11 years ago

Hello,

I'm using the TdxMapControl with OpenStreetMap. If I activate caching (by setting the DiskFolder property of the DataProvider), I get the following error message after the second start of the application:

"'nnnn, nnnn' is not a valid floating point number" (excatly: "'41824,4517303704' ist kein gültiger Gleitkommawert")

If I delete the files in the cache folder and set the regional settings to English (US) everything works fine. Maybe the different decimal seperators - German: ",", US: "." - cause the problem.

Thanks and best regards

Philipp
