An AV occurs when loading an XLS file containing some strings with zero length

I am not able to import one of our xls 97 file,the program raises a null reference exception then stops the import.My investigation leads me to the sharedstring part. The size of one of the shared string is zero.
I am not able to reproduce the error with ablank file but I send you a simplified sample file.
raise nil error on :
procedure TdxSpreadSheetXLSReader.PrepareSharedStrings;

comme from :
function TdxXLSReader.XLS_ReadString: TdxSpreadSheetSharedString;
Normal 0 21 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
