References Window - Double-click on a reference window opens the designer file instead of navigating to code

created a year ago

Hi!

Recently, on CodeRush latest updates, when double click on any row references window, it opens designer when it is a form or a report, instead taking to the line the reference is made. I don't know if this is a setting or something that is modifiable. Why is happening this now?

Thank you!

    Hello,

I reproduced the described behavior for .Net applications. Since we haven't changed anything in our code recently, there is a high chance that something was changed in VS API. We will try to resolve the issue in our code, or will pass it to MS.

We have addressed the issue described in this ticket and will include a fix in our next maintenance update. Should you need to apply our fix prior to official release, you can request a hotfix here.

      Important Notes:

      • Hotfixes may be unavailable for Early Access/Beta builds or updates set for release within a week.
      • .NET only: in the NuGet Package Manager, use your personal NuGet feed and check the "Include prerelease" option to view the hotfix package in the "Updates" tab.

          Hi,

Do you mind if we make this ticket public, so that we can include it in the list of fixed issues for the next release?
