I recognized an issue with different spaces left and right of a gallery item.
Especially visible if a gallery is the only item within a group.
But also if an gallery item is surrounded by group lines.
This happens in design and at runtime with every skin i tested.
In MS Ribbons the spaces are equal.
A other issue occurs with the SkinChooserGallery.
The scrollbar area is broken at runtime for all skins.

As for "different spaces left and right of a gallery item", this is by design.
As for the top border of the SkinChooserGallery's dropdown button, I've reproduced this and am forwarding this issue to our developers for further research.
Galleries on first position in a group have a wider left border than galleries on
other positions or buttons at same position - by design?
We did not found this issue ourselves. Customers described this as distracting!
Microsoft does it better, see attached screen.
This spaces are not explicitly mentioned in the official MS style guide, but taking the MS implementation as reference,
your design is broken.
