Code Places are shown inside the code definition tool window

created 3 years ago

Hi.

I love the Code Places sidebar, and always have it visible in the main editor window. But it also shows in the VS 2022 Code Definition Window, which I always have open as well in a separate tool window that is shared by other tool windows. It gets in the way. I was hoping to be able to collapse or hide the Code Places sidebar in the Code Definition Window but keep it shown in the main IDE but the setting seems shared by both. Can we please have an independent setting for the Code Places sidebar in the main IDE and in the Code Definition Window?

Thanks.

    Hi,

We decided to disable the Code Places in the Code Definition Window. This change will be available with the next CodeRush update.
