Optionally paint action bar item glyphs without transparency masks

created 12 years ago

Hi,

I understand that by design TdxTileControlActionBarItem.Glyph expects and image with 3 frames (although there is no documentation regarding this) for consistency with Metro (Windows 8) User Interface.
But it would be nice for consistency with the rest of the application, that it would also allow non Metro behavior.

Please remember that the TdxTileControl is also used inside existing applications to extend functionality and not only to create new apps from scratch. And in this scenarios we want this control to have the same look and feel of all other controls.

Thanks.

Luis

        Additional information:

With the action button's GlyphType property (TdxTileControlActionBarItem.GlyphType) introduced with VCL 13.2, you can switch the use of transparency masks to render action bar item glyphs.
