The control does not paint the selection rectangle created after another selection rectangle whose either absolute dimension exceeds 32000 pixels

Just try the attached sample program.
it has been made by placing a spreadsheet component in a form. no code.

If you try to multi-select multiple entire columns (by keeping pressed the CTRL key and clicking on column headers) only the first column you click on gets entirely selected.

The only thing that seems to be selected when clicking on subsequent headers seems to be just the hearder cell itself.

Please provide an hot fix, since this has already gone into production, thank you!

    Hello Carlo,

    I have reproduced this behavior with the latest version of our controls (18.2.4). It looks strange because I remember that in previous versions columns were selected just like in Microsoft Excel. It may take us some time to find a solution.

    We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.
