Hi Guys,
start MainDemo.Win.exe and set data Access mode to ServerMode - now when invoking the FilterEditor Collection properties are missing?
We have closed this ticket because another page addresses its subject:
UI - Disable server-side operations (sorting, filtering, grouping, field chooser in the filter control, etc.) or provide warnings for non-persistent properties by defaultHi Guys,

Hello Noxe,
Thanks for your feedback and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience here. You can install the http://downloads.devexpress.com/Share/XAF/S31714/DevExpressComponents-16.2.6.17090.exe hot fix build that returns things back to normal. If you happen to experience any related problems, please report them to us. You can also temporarily disable this feature as described at the end of the UI - Disable server side operations (sorting, filtering, grouping, field chooser in the filter control, etc.) or provide warnings for non-persistent properties by default thread.
I downloaded the hotfix and it brought back some, but it does not bring back all collection properties.
For instance, I can no longer get to Roles from the filter editor, which is defined a little differently.
[Association, Browsable(false)]
public IList<UserRole> UserToRoleLinks
{
get
{
return GetList<UserRole>("UserToRoleLinks");
}
}
[ManyToManyAlias("UserToRoleLinks", "CompoundKey1.Role")]
public IList<Role> Roles
{
get
{
return GetList<Role>("Roles");
}
}
Hi Nate,
I've created a separate ticket on your behalf (Filter Editor - Collections that represent ends of the many-to-many association are missing in the property list). We are currently researching it and update the ticket once we have any results.
Currently, you can set the PreventServerSideOperationsForNonPersistentMembers property of the ColumnListEditor to false to prevent the issue. UI - Disable server-side operations (sorting, filtering, grouping, field chooser in the filter control, etc.) or provide warnings for non-persistent properties by default ticket contains an example demonstrate it.
