ResetViewSettingsAction only in menu, possible?

created 8 years ago

Dear support team,

is it possible to show the build-in ResetViewSettingsAction only in menu?
I tried to change the category ResetViewSettingsAction to "menu" (instead of "view") in a view controller but it shows no effect.
Is there another way?
As an alternative I deactivated ResetViewSettingsAction and execute ResetViewSettingsAction by a simple action.
But this is the wrong way because, I cannot call the action with a simple action when ResetViewSettingsAction is deactivated.

Thanks for your help and wishing you wonderful days during Christmas !!

Hello Tin-Kai.

The ResetViewSettingsAction's category is "View", and the context menu shows actions from multiple categories, including the "View" category. To show in action in menu only, open Model Editor, expand the ActionDesign/ActionToContainerMapping node, remove the action from the View container and add to the Menu container (or drag-and-drop the action link node).
