We have implemented the functionality described in this ticket. It will be included in our next update(s).
Please check back and leave a comment to this response to let us know whether or not this solution addresses your concerns.
Hi Mikhail,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Let me start with the Office2016White theme. This theme is intended to provide look and feel similar to MS Office apps, and at the moment, colors in the status bar match the colors of corresponding elements in Outlook 2016. Please take a look at the screenshot below where I demonstrated the demo you have attached, Outlook, and Word.
Due to this factor, it is unlikely that colors in Office2016White will be changed unless the colors in Outlook will be corrected.
As for the DXStyle theme, I have passed your feedback to our designers. We will certainly take it into account.
Fortunately, in version 16.1, it is possible to change the appearance of items in the status bar without affecting other items - this can be done by overriding the {dxbt:BarItemBorderInStatusBarThemeKey ResourceKey=Normal} template from our themes. I've modified your sample to demonstrate this approach in action.

Hi Ivan,
Thank you for the explanation.
OK, I see - that's not your design issue but the Microsoft one :-)
Well, the checked and unchecked states differ each other, but the difference isn't comfortable… So I will change the theme background color by the ThemeKey.
Thanks,
Mikhail
