Pluralsight training for XAF

created 10 years ago (modified 10 years ago)

Hi,
Do you plan to prepare a completed and detailed video for visual training in pluralsight for XFA? It will be more efficient than youtube basic videos. I want to learn XAF, but It is difficult to start it. When I started to lightswitch,  msdn has preaped alot of visual videos step by step. Also pluralsight training. Your framework is solid, please provide us a practice learning map.
Thanks

Hello Necmettin,

Thanks for your feedback. While I cannot promise you such a course, we will definitely take your request into account. For now, I recommend you check out our online documentation, which is quite detailed:
https://documentation.devexpress.com/#eXpressAppFramework/CustomDocument112670
Should you experience any difficulties with the concepts or tutorials, please let us know.
In addition, you can see the Youtube videos, though some of them were created for older versions and certain pics may be different now: http://www.youtube.com/user/DeveloperExpress/search?query=xaf
The https://search.devexpress.com/ tool can be a good alternative to Google for locating information in our docs and it supports a database with thousands of tickets logged in the past 10 years.

P.S.
You may also find a recent discussion on the subject in our LinkedIn XAF developer group interesting.

      Much appreciated, Manuel!

        Hello,

I am definitively interested in such a course.
For a total XAF newbie, there is so much partial documentation available, that it is hard to find the right way to do even the simplest things.
Example: in an XPO Model based on an existing database, how do I define lookups for eg. a country? This seemingly trivial task has consumed several hours of my time over the past week, without a working llokup.

So yes, a course is more than wlecome, and I'm willing to pay!

          Hi Mark!

That's something I'm considering working on, but this is a really time consuming task and honestly I don't know if it would pay out.
But for a hands on training feel free to contact me via https://www.delegate.at also checkout my blog.

I'm wondering what price tag would be okay for you, for such a course?

          Kind regards
          Manuel
