Invalid XmlnsDeclaration in 'DevExpress.Xpf.Ribbon.Internal' in the VS2010 Designer after updating DevExpress controls to v14.2.5

created 10 years ago

Hi

After updating DevExpress version from 14.2.3 to 14.2.5, the designer can't be loaded in Visual Studio 2010

Visual Studio error:

Error 13 Invalid XmlnsDeclaration occurs in assembly 'DevExpress.Xpf.Ribbon.v14.2, Version=14.2.5.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=b88d1754d700e49a'. XmlnsDeclaration references a namespace 'DevExpress.Xpf.Ribbon.Internal'
that is not in the assembly.

Best regards
Armin

      Hi Armin,

      We appreciate your patience. Our developers have just fixed the issue and I can confirm that the designer is loaded properly on my side. Please try the hotfix once it becomes available (usually, we publish hotfixes within a few days) and let me know how it works for you.

      Thanks,
      Alex

        Same there, we wait the fix

            Hi James,
            I apologize for the inconvenience. This hotfix was removed because we found a serious issue in it. In fact, the issue is not related to WPF, so if somebody is using the hotfix for WPF projects, it's OK, but in any case, we had to remove it to prevent other users from downloading it. We will publish a new hotfix in the Client-side errors are displayed on a web page when a hotfix build 14.2.5.15062 is used thread as soon as we can.

            Thanks,
            Alexander
