Support for Delphi XE2

created 10 years ago

Hi Team,

First, I want to say that I have enjoyed your VCL products for years, and I want to thank everyone at DevExpress for the high quality of your products. I know it is not easy to achieve and maintain this level of quality in software.

My question is related to the roadmap and planned support for Delphi XE2. I am still using Delphi 2009, which lost support from you some time ago. I am just now in the process of moving my projects to XE2, partly because I use other component sets as well, and I had to update (re-purchase) those as well. I purchased XE2 when it came out, but was unable to use it right away, like I said, because of the third party components.

Do you have an idea of how long are you going to continue to support XE2?

Embarcadero announced me that after December 31'st I will not be able to upgrade from XE2 to XE7, I will have to purchase XE7 as a new product .

Best Regards and Happy Holidays!

Romeo

Hello Romeo,

We are not going to stop supporting XE2 IDE. I believe it will be supported for several years.
