Please check back and leave a comment to this response to let us know whether or not this solution addresses your concerns.

Additional information:

Hello Guys,

In v15.2.5 we have made improvements at both the XPO and XAF levels to avoid the aforementioned behavior without extra options on your side. I invite you to test a new 15.2 build containing these improvements: http://downloads.devexpress.com/Share/DXP/S170995/DevExpressComponents-15.2.4.15357.exe
For your convenience, I am also attaching the modified version of the How to separate data between employees and managers of different departments using security permissions example and functional tests for it, which I used to test this behavior locally (in addition to many other tests we have internally).  I am looking forward to hearing from you on how these improvements work in your real projects as well. If this solution does not fully suit you, please submit separate tickets via the Support Center and describe the most important use-case scenarios and expected results that you wish to achieve with our security module. Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
Dennis
