VCL Demos for C++ Builder XE2

created 13 years ago

Should the demos for those products that ship with demo directories work under C++ Builder / XE2? I get a guid error when loading the associated project files.
Thanks for any help!

    Hello,
    Thank you for your message.
There are two ways to open our demos:

    1. You can open them by using the start menu (Start->All Programs->Developer Express VCL Products->//SeparateProduct//->Demos Group for C++ Builder XE2) and then choose a necessary demo project.
    2. If you need to open a single demo, open the <DemoName>D16.dproj or <DemoName>.dpr file from the <SeparateProduct>\demos\delphi\<DemoName> folder. Please note that you should remove the .dproj file if you open a project by using the .dpr file.
      Best Regards,
      Paulo

Thanks, I should have seen that! After changing security privileges, I could open and run the demos, as you say.
