Guys, I would like to ask if your development team would be willing to write a short knowledge base article about what you learned while making the latest Delphi 2009-compatible version of the grid. My team, and probably many others, are about to face the same battle (how to make our version-controlled products workable on old and new Delphis). It would be a real service to the community if you could share a few "lessons learned".
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I cannot promise this at present, but I hope will publish our experience some days. The main 3 things you should pay attention to are:
I recommend that you read a wonderful article by Nick Hodges - "Delphi in a Unicode World":
Delphi in a Unicode World Part I: What is Unicode, Why do you need it, and How do you work with it in Delphi?
Delphi in a Unicode World Part II: New RTL Features and Classes to Support Unicode
Delphi in a Unicode World Part III: Unicodifying Your Code (sic!)
Thanks,
Serge
P.S. By the way, it seems you're using an older build of our components (according to the report's Version field). Please visit our version info page at http://www.devexpress.com/Support/Versions.xml, to learn about the most recent versions of our products, and obtain instructions on how to update them.
