The DevExpress WinForms Map control can render any vector data on its map surface. This can include shapes, pictures loaded from an external image file or an in-memory data source (IEnumerable, Dataset, etc.) and other custom drawn shapes. The Map control supports the following file formats:

  • PBF / MBTiles
  • GeoJSON
  • GPX

DevExpress Maps also includes Web Map Service support. These services allow you to obtain map data from a server as a single image. If the server supports multiple WMS layers, you can select the one most appropriate to your business requirements.
