> Click into the FileName field
> and then press Alt

I was not able to reproduce this behavior. Perhaps, I've missed something. I've attached a video that demonstrates this. Please take a look at the attachment.

thank you for your reply! I recompiled my demo with 2012.2.6 and reproduced the problem in a very clean Windows 8 installation within a VM. I did not use a Screen Keyboard but just pressed ALT after typig "test". Please see the video.

your compiled version works fine on all of my systems. Which version of dxVCL did you use? Maybe you have special compiler settings activated? Could you please provide the .dproj and the .res file? Thank you.
