I used the Features Demo application to create the attached xls file. One of the cells contains a formula that appends two strings to each other, one of which contains Chinese characters. I then saved the file.
Opening this file with Excel 2007 or Excel 2013 correctly displays the formulas with the Chinese characters. Loading the saved file with the Features Demo unfortunately converts the Chinese characters in the formula to question marks.
We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.
Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for beta versions and updates that are about to be released.
