dxCheckGroupBox - Setting the checked state of the editor enables children located in an immediate child dxCheckGroupBox editor whose checked state is switched off

created 12 years ago

Hi,
When I have 2 TdxGroupCheckBox controls placed on a form with one inside another, then a TcxTextEdit control placed within the inner group box the behaviour is not what I expect.
When running the project :
- Starting with both group check boxes checked
- If I uncheck the inner group check box the text edit control becomes disabled
- If I then uncheck the outer group check box the inner group check box becomes disabled
- If I then check the outer group check box the inner group check box becomes enabled but so does the text edit control even though the inner group check box is unchecked
In this case I would expect the text edit control to remain disabled until the group inner check box is checked again.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm afraid it is not clear to me. Would you please provide us with a simple example to demonstrate the issue? We will examine it and do our best to find a solution.

      Hi,
I've attached a project which should demonstrate the problem if you follow the steps in my previous post.
      Thanks,
      Mike
