The OnGetDisplayText event incorrectly handles a node object passed as the ANode parameter if this object is allocated in memory beyond 4 GB

created 12 years ago

Hi all,
I have a problem with TcxTreeList allocating memory addressess beyond 2Gb. The problem is clear at line 21731 of unit cxTL, in method TcxTreeListColumn.DoGetDisplayText, where integer variable ARecordIndex is cast to a TcxTreeListNode object.

I'm using the last release, 12.2.3, released in january 2013.

Thank you for your help.

Lorenzo

      Hello Ken,
It seems that you are right. The fix was incomplete. I have updated the HotFix, and you are welcome to download the new version. It should compile without errors now.
By the way, have you also faced this problem? I thought it is really rare.

        Paulo,
No, I haven't experienced it myself.
