OLAP mode - Measure DisplayFolder not displayed in hierarchy

created 12 years ago

I downloaded your VCL Subscription trial 12.2.3 in order to evaluate PivotGrid. I used the sample OLAPBrowser.exe and connected to a SSAS cube. In this cube I have some measures. Some of them are grouped by using the property "DisplayFolder" in the SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio.
These folders are not shown in the measure-tree and because of this, the measures are displayed ungrouped. I found an entry in your support center (Q142047) on this topic. If I understand this correct, there has to be a possibility to show these folders. Are there any properties I forgot to set?

Many thanks in advance.

We have fixed the issue described in this ticket and will include the fix in our next maintenance update. To apply this solution before the official update, request a hotfix by clicking the corresponding link for product versions you require.

Note: Hotfixes may be unavailable for beta versions and updates that are about to be released.

I am afraid I can't reproduce this issue. By design, our PivotGrid always shows display folders if corresponding properties are assigned for measures in the OLAP cube. To reproduce this issue, I need your OLAP cube.
Our PivotGrid control supports DisplayFolders for measures starting from the 2012.1 release version.

        Hello,
Thank you for your sample cube. I have reproduced the behavior when the "display sub-folder" is not recognized. I have forwarded this ticket to our developers for research.

          Hello Paulo,
what do you think, how long will it take to fix the problem?
          Kind Regards,
          Marc
