The latest release has a really nice option of ShowOnlyValidDates for the cxDateEdit component. This property doesn't appear to be exposed for the dxBarDateCombo. Can that be implemented please?

Incidentally, using a cxBarEditItem with type DateEdit doesn't help - for some reason the ShowOnlyValidDates property is exposed in this case, but it doesn't work even when MaxDate and MinDate are assignedvalues.

TdxBar~ editors are very old (they had been used as in-place editors for ExpressBars before we implemented cx~ editors) and are currently in support mode. This means that we do not develop new features for them.
I recommend that you use TcxBarEditItems with corresponding Properties instead.

I understand re the dx editors - thanks for pointing that out by the way - I was never sure which type I should be using (cx or dx). I'll now use cx exclusively.
As I mentioned in my followup, I did try it with the cxBarEditItem and the ShowOnlyValidDates it didn't work there. Can I assume from your post that it is this 'bug' that you have reproduced and have therefore asked the developers to implement in the CX version?
