In the dxRibbon's "Customize Quick Access Toolbar" dropdown menu the check items show the hint of the relevant action. In the Microsoft implementations they show a hint like "Add/Remove from QAT" (see attached screenshot).

It is not clear for me. Would you please provide us with a sample project to demonstrate the issue and more detailed information about the functionality you are trying to implement? We will examine it and do our best to find a solution.
Compare the two hints in the attachment. Wordpad shows the (translated) hint "Add to the Quick Access Toolbar" while RibbonNotepadDemo shows "Open". This is misleading because clicking the item doesn't open something but adds to/removes from the QAT.
