Hints over footer cells

created 18 years ago

Hi,
Currently we have to "manually" display hints over summary cells when display text within summary item is not completely drawn.
When column width is to small to display data cell value, we can expect that corresponding summary value will be cut as well.
Situation gets worse when summary is decorated with some additional description (e. g. "Average profit: " or "Total payments between date1 and date2:").
This is quite common scenario, I think.
When column width is to small to display data cell value, we can enable hints with OptionsHint.ShowCellHints property.
Proposed Solution:
Please add OptionsHint.ShowFooterHints to enable such functionality for total and group summaries.

AS2791 is marked as private. I can not track it. Neither can other users.
Can you set AS2791 as duplicate to my issue, so everyone can vote for this feature?
