I found a bug in DevExpress.Xpo.Session.PreFetch when you specify a name of a reference type in the 'collections' argument.
In the code you'll find a the following:
if(member.ReferenceType != null) {
IList subObjects = new ArrayList();
foreach(object obj in objects) {
subObjects.Add(member.GetValue(obj));
}
PreFetch(member.ReferenceType, subObjects, string.Join(".", membersPath, 1, membersPath.Length - 1));
}
Change it to:
if(member.ReferenceType != null) {
if (membersPath.Length > 1) {
IList subObjects = new ArrayList();
foreach(object obj in objects) {
subObjects.Add(member.GetValue(obj));
}
PreFetch(member.ReferenceType, subObjects, string.Join(".", membersPath, 1, membersPath.Length - 1));
}
}
The only change is the if (membersPath.Length > 1)
Steps to Reproduce:
Run the test app
