Any attempt to show the field list in the win pivot fails in Customization.CustomizationForm.GetActiveListbox().
This will kill any attempt at building pivots on the fly for my demo today unless it is fixed immediately.

… it gets worse. Even showing a pre-existing pivot, binding data, then closing it pops up this error. This is suuuuuuper critical for me to have fixed immediately, if possible, within the hour. I know this is unlikely. Stepping back to 8.3.4 is not an option either as the main area of focus needed the fix in that upgrade. The second most important piece, the pivot, is now messed up.
I can devise a reason that may explain it, but i am loath to make excuses. thanks, drew…
Hello Drew,
Thank you for the report. First, for future issues, I would like to kindly ask you to mention that you are using an intermediate build, because it will reduce the time spent on the issue and provide you with a possible solution faster. I say this because there may be people in Support who did not deal with your issues previously and who don't know that you have installed the public fix today.
I have reproduced the problem. It will be fixed if you install the latest version of DXperience from this link: http://downloads.devexpress.com/Share/DXP/090215/DXperience-8.3.4.exe
Thanks,
Dennis
