Validation - When an incorrect value is posted to a property of the Double type, the PropertyGridControl displays an unfriendly error message

created 16 years ago

I enter a blank on a PropertyGrid cell which is mapped to a property of type double. An unfriendly message is displayed.
"Object of type 'System.String' cannot be converted to type 'System.Double'"
which is being caused by the pd.SetValue(target, value); call on line 566 in method: protected override void SetCellValueCore(RowProperties props, int recordIndex, object value, bool endCurrentEdit) in VGridDataManager.cs
