Cursor on a new line should reflect the current font size

When using a larger font size (ie 72), and the cursor is on a new line, the cursor should reflect the current font size. Currently it defaults to the font size of 12 I think.
Steps to Reproduce:
On a new line, change the font size to a larger size.
The cursor remains small. If you begin typing then you realize the size of the font but not before anything has been enterred on the line.
