The Bar series should be put side-by-side in the scenario when the one of the axis base they use is different (for example, the X Axis is common for the series,
and the Y Axis is set to the different ones).

We're glad to inform you that this feature has been implemented (without any program interface change) in the next major version of the XtraCharts suite (v2009 vol 1). Now, all side-by-side bar, range bar and Gantt series are placed side-by-side regardless of the corresponding axes.
PS. Note that v2009 vol 1 will be available later this year.
