At present, desktop browser zoom is not supported. Usually, this results in minor issues with the control appearance.
Zooming on mobile and tablet devices is fully supported.

Instead of working on it you made it worse! In 13.2.8 the layout of controls break even more "easily")
4 years and still nothing on this very, very basic feature. I can't recommend web-based components that will break if any zoom is applied… we can't control what zoom the end-user will want to use in their browsers… Nowadays most people have 22'' and bigger flat screens… Zooming is a requirement.
Hello Felipe,
I see you've reported about the same problem in Q586628.
We'll research your report and respond to you there.
I am also being asked for this from my boss. Since scrolling is using transform-origin, perhaps using a gesture js library with the 'scaleAtOrigin' CSS feature.
This idea is touched on here: https://cloudup.com/blog/how-we-made-zoom-on-mobile-using-css3-and-js
Hi, Zooming is a basic feature. Most client request to implement web site using SGQRI 008 standard.
I can't use devexpress ASPx anymore for public web site and most private intranet.
Do you have new time line to support zoom ?
The skins look unproffesional with the images cornered off.
I would like to see this implemented.
I was redirected from one of my tickets (https://www.devexpress.com/support/center/Question/Details/T224634) to this one. Do you have any plans on resolving this issue ? In my case the problem occurs on browsers other than IE : only this one shows the image correctly in all zoom levels. I do not understand why this works on one browser but the others fail to show the expanded image correctly
Regards,
Hello All,
I have discussed this request with our R&D team. Unlike mobile and tablet devices, desktop browsers zoom content in a very different manner. We already fixed several issues that appeared in our controls when a web page is zoomed. However, we have not found a universal solution yet.
This issue requires additional resources to research. However, currently our efforts are focused on many other tasks. We do not plan to totally reject this, the ticket is still on our To-Do list and we keep this issue in mind. But currently, we do not plan to actively work on it for a while.
This is more than a bit of a problem I would have thought. Many people are now quite used to using CTRL + on browsers to zoom in, and on Chrome I find that the tab page control keeps getting random breaks in the sides it when they do.
I can't very well go back to my client and say 'better hope they don't zoom'… well I can, but I know what they're going to say. Whilst I do appreciate at least some of the difficulties in providing cross-browser, cross-version support for components, and I couldn't live without them, given that the problem has been knocking around for so long, it's disappointing to see that you 'do not plan to actively work on it for a while'.
Hello Timothy,
Although we did not find a way to support zooming in desktop browsers out of the box, we managed to solve many related issues in different controls. If you face a new one, please inform us. We will thoroughly research it and do our best to find a solution to it.
This post is about WebForms but I belive the same problem exists in MVC.
So, my project is written in ASP.NET MVC using your controls.
I have a problem when GridView control is displayed in a Splitter panel if I set browser zoom to 125%. And a Splitter is inside TabControl which is inside another Splitter :).
After I call PerformCallback for the CallbackPanel that holds Splitter (inside which there is a GridView), something is wrong with GridView's size.
I attach an image that shows the issue.
Unfortunately, my project is too complex and to make a sample project out of it is not simple.
I'll just leave this message for you, maybe you can find the problem in code or just be aware that not everything is fine.
Hello Artem,
To process your question more efficiently, I created a separate ticket on your behalf: T336300: GridView - Layout is broken when zoom level is set to 125%. This ticket is currently in our processing queue. Our team will address it as soon as we have any updates.
