Frozen pane with change of fixed color in frozen panes, lack of changing styles

created 17 years ago

Thank you for the Article "How to implement a "frozen pane" feature in the ExpressSpreadSheet" (Article ID: A1050)
As work around it works fine. I implemented it actually with conserving the ColSizes by the TopLeftChanging event ;-)
Question: Is it possible to change the Background color of the frozen cols/rows at least ? An example based on the code of the Article would help me.
It seemes that it is hardcoded in the TcxSheetPainter , isn't it? Also there is a lack of possibility to keep the Styles of the cells.
Many thanks in advance,
George Gruber

    Hi George,
First, I apologize for the delay in responding.
Yes, it is possible. Attached is a modified sample project demonstrating how this can be done. Please try it and let us know your results.
    Thanks,
    Vito
